Master of Science in Counseling (MSC)

The Carver School of Social Work and Counseling at Campbellsville University offers a Master of Science in Counseling (MSC) as a result of the increased need for qualified counseling professionals in the state of Kentucky and in the region.

Students can enroll in one or more of the following tracks for the MSC degree to graduate:

  • GENERALIST: 36 CREDIT HOURS
  • MARRIAGE & FAMILY: 42 CREDIT HOURS
  • CLINICAL: 60 CREDIT HOURS

The MSC degree is designed to prepare career-oriented graduates to perform at their best in professions dedicated to counseling individuals, families and groups in a variety of occupational venues. The basic academic curriculum provides the necessary foundation for obtaining a generalist counseling degree. In addition,  advanced curricula in Marriage and Family or Clinical Counseling prepares  future counselors interested in  seeking  licensure in Kentucky and many other states.

MSC program benefits
