Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Health Care Management (Adult Degree Completion)

The major is designed for those persons currently working in or desiring to work in management or administrative positions within the health care profession. It provides a well-balanced offering of courses that specifically address relevant issues related to management roles within small or large health care organizations, including ethics, legal issues, organizational structure and dynamics, financing, and human resources. An advanced management seminar is provided that addresses some of the most pressing issues confronting todays health care managers. The major is intended to provide students with a good foundation and prerequisite knowledge for pursuing graduate degrees in health care management.
