Program Description

The Master of Arts Degree with Certification in Special Education Program offers students a convenient, high-quality, spiritually-based education and can be completed in 18 and 24 months maintaining 37-38 course hours. This degree will include a special education curriculum with strong classroom management and teaching methods. Students will receive quality instruction through mentoring, online learning, face-to-face instruction and 24/7 live tech support.
Application Requirements
If you are a teacher or have a teaching certificate, the following are required:
- Two official undergraduate and/or any graduate transcripts from the college granting the degree
- Application form for the LBD program
- Two recommendations: one from a building principal or from a former professor or other educator using the Program Entry Form
- 2.75 GPA (if less than 2.75, the GRE must be taken)
- Copy of your teaching certificate
- Signed copy of the Ky. School Personnel Code of Ethics
If you are not currently employed as a teacher, the following are required:
