Hiwassee College is located in Madisonville, TN, in the Great Smoky Mountains area. As a two-year, co-educational, liberal arts college, HC shapes the future of many traditional and nontraditional students. Now, HC is developing its online education division to enable students from anywhere in the world to further their education through modern and convenient means - online education.

The Online Campus allows students to access their course material anytime, anywhere. Through online learning, students will acquire superior networking, collaboration and communication skills.

The "Hiwassee Experience" provides a sense of community enriched by the relationships and supportiveness between students, quality academic programs and a caring and dedicated faculty. Hiwassee College provides a value-centered educational environment that empowers its students to fulfill their potential.

Hiwassee College is affiliated with The United Methodist Church. However, there are no faith requirements or restrictions for any students attending Hiwassee College.

Students and faculty are expected to study, work and live together in a manner that respects individuals and honors faith. The education received at Hiwassee College is focused on helping students prepare for lives of responsible citizenship, service and leadership.
