Highland Community College brings the classroom to you with online general education courses designed to help you meet your educational goals from wherever you may need to be. Whether employed, taking care of children or assuming other responsibilities, busy individuals can take advantage of the convenience that these online courses provide. It is the ideal way to maximize your time and realize your potential without the burden of attending courses in a traditional classroom setting.
This program consists of a selection of liberal arts courses designed to help students complete general education requirements and the requirements of some programs and majors. You may use these courses toward earning your Associate degree. These courses are designed to be part of the General Education portion of the Associate degree programs at Highland Community College. These courses will also help satisfy general education requirements for a Bachelor's degree at other colleges and universities to which you may wish to transfer. A completely online degree is not yet available at HCC, but is planned for the future.
