Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN)

Today, nurses are critical members of the health care system who contribute to the maintenance and promotion of our nation's health and welfare. Increased and new demands in the healthcare field have led to opportunities which have been unavailable to nurses in the past. The Division of Nursing and Allied Health at Hannibal LaGrange College is committed to preparing students with the attitudes, knowledge, and skills needed to meet the present and emerging healthcare demands through a holistic approach.

Program Description

Students interested in the RN-BSN Program must posses an ASN degree. Once in the program courses are 3 credit hours and are taken in eight-week terms. This accelerated program allows for advancement in your career with convenience.

To graduate from the RN-BSN Program, students must satisfy all entry and curriculum requirements as well as the Graduation Requirements. The total requirements for completion of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program are 62 semester hours. Total credits needed for graduation are 131 semester hours.

Seventy (70) hours of junior college credit may be transferred toward a RN-BSN degree.

Requirements:

1) Provide evidence of having completed an ASN degree or a diploma program with a Cumulative GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale).
