Midland's BSBA is a degree completion program that provides you with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to build a successful career as a business professional. With personal instruction and guidance from qualified faculty, you will find your class experiences challenging, practical and rewarding.

Our faculty offers you valuable insight into the world of business based on their experiences, and they will gladly assist you in determining your course of study and career orientation. The program is based in the liberal arts, helping you strengthen your ability to write, think, reason and analyze.

A Midland Business Major:

  • develops an understanding of and ability to discuss and react to broad business problems and situations through a basic knowledge in all major components of the business field, including accounting, economics, management, marketing and business law;
  • develops the knowledge and skills necessary for entry level positions in a specific field of business;
  • develops the ability to utilize quantitative methods and tools necessary in today's business environment of problem solving and computer use;
  • develops effective communication skills necessary for success in the business world;
  • develops an understanding of the need to react responsibly to ethical and social situations encountered within his/her chosen business occupation and the world in which he/she lives.

Requirements:

  • 30 credit hours of college coursework including English Composition.

Additional Information:

  • A maximum of 64 credit (semester) hours may be transferred from 2-year colleges.
  • A maximum of 105 credit (semester) hours can be transferred from a 4-year institution.
  • Students must earn 32 of the last 40 hours from Midland Lutheran College.

**Students transferring 64 or more credit hours can complete this degree in 18 months or less.
