Welcome to Midland Lutheran College Online Campus
Midland is a four-year, traditional liberal arts college affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Faith, learning, quality, respect and stewardship are the core values, which guide its mission. Students can choose from nearly 50 majors and pre-professional programs leading to bachelor's degree. The online education platform has been implemented at Midland as a valuable addition to the delivery methods. It adds convenience, flexibility and a modern approach to learning.
Students may take Midland's online courses from anywhere across the globe. Our distance learning platform allows our students who have jobs to attend classes while maintaining their work schedule. Students who travel frequently can attend an online class from any location that has internet access. Midland's online program will be synchronous (scheduled real time sessions on line). Upon approval, asynchronous approach will be adopted (anytime, anywhere).
Online instructors may teach from any location across the globe, but all of them embrace the value of a faith-based education and strive to continuously lift up the mission and values of Midland Lutheran College. Because there are no geographic barriers to online learning, students can find diversity of course material that may not be available to them where they live or work. This allows students to be exposed to knowledge that can't be learned in books and see how class concepts are applied in real business situations. Online learning is very student-teacher focused.
