
RN-BSN Baccalaureate Experiential Nursing Degree
The Baccalaureate Experiential Nursing Degree (B.E.N.D.) is a program offered at Midland Lutheran College which provides the already licensed registered nurse with the opportunity to receive credit for past learning experiences, and get a BSN. The B.E.N.D. student will be given the opportunity to test out of general college courses as well as specific nursing courses.
This program is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission and is approved by the Nebraska State Board of Nursing. Graduates of the program are eligible to complete the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) for state licensure as registered nurses.

Requirements:
- A cumulative grade point average of 2.50.
- Currently possessing an unencumbered license as a R.N.
- Employed in an area of nursing within the last three years or have taken a refresher course within the past year.
Additional Information:
- Students who have completed all support courses will be able to complete the BEND program in 9 months.
