St. Andrews Hosting 2009 ANRC National Equestrian Championships This Weekend
Ten colleges and universities will enter teams seeking the 2009 national championship of the American National Riding Commission this weekend at St. Andrews Presbyterian College. Savannah College of Art and Design from Savannah, Ga., will defend its 2008 title.

Professor William McConnell Appointed To National Position
The Executive Committee of the American Choral Directors Association announced on Wednesday the appointment of Dr. William "Bill" McConnell, associate professor of music at St. Andrews Presbyterian College, to the position of National Repertoire and Standards Chair for Colleges and Universities.

St. Andrews Opens World to Texas Native
When Caitlin Haney started looking for colleges, it was the equestrian offerings at St. Andrews Presbyterian College that caught her eye. "I have always known about St. Andrews but when a couple of alums moved to the area I became more interested," said the Austin, Texas native. "I came to St. Andrews to be a part of the equestrian team." Her academic accomplishments in high school earned her a spot in the St. Andrews General Honors Program under the direction of Dr. Neal Bushoven.

St. Andrews Pipe Band Wins Loch Norman
The St. Andrews Presbyterian College Pipe Band completed a perfect season by winning the Loch Norman Highland Games in Huntersville on Saturday. The band placed first in the Grade III band competition beating the Atlanta Pipe Band, the Charleston Police Pipe Band and the North Carolina State University Pipe Band.

Lost Christendom Focus of Evans Lecture
Dr. Philip Jenkins, the 2008-2009 E. Hervey Evans Distinguished Fellow at St. Andrews Presbyterian College, explored the lost Christian history of Asia during the Evans Lecture held in the Carol Grotnes Belk Main Room of the William Henry Belk College Center Monday evening.

Ohio Valley University has announced that it will celebrate its 50th anniversary by offering its own version of an economic stimulus package in the form of deeply discounted summer courses. Brewton-Parker College Launches Online Bachelor of Business Administration Degree
For the last decade, Brewton-Parker College (BPC) has provided students with a higher education in a caring, Christian environment.
