
Master of Arts in Psychology
The master's degree specialization in school psychology provides the opportunity for students to evaluate, counsel, prescribe and implement remedial procedures for students in the school system who are dealing with behavioral, intellectual, and emotional problems.
The program emphasizes the application of diversity solutions, awareness and respect for individual differences, collaborative problem solving, and empirically-based interventions. The program includes online course work.

Licensure
The school psychology graduate program at Union College is designed in accordance with the requirements for state licensure as designated by the Kentucky Board of Examiners of Psychology. The educational requirements for licensure as a psychological practitioner include an additional 15 hours of coursework beyond the psychological associate and an internship of 1800 hours.
